Community Services and Public Safety Supervisor

The City of Temple City is seeking a Community Services and Public Safety Supervisor to lead and coordinate a variety of community services and public safety programs. This position plays a key role in overseeing parking administration and enforcement, emergency and disaster preparedness planning, public safety volunteer programs, and contract law enforcement services.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in public administration or a related field, and two (2) years of experience providing management-level administrative support services for a public agency.

Qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on the basis of two (2) years of relevant experience for each one (1) year of college. For example, two (2) years of qualifying experience may substitute for one (1) year of college; four (4) years for two (2) years of college; six (6) years for three (3) years of college; and eight (8) years for four (4) years of college.

Municipal emergency services experience is preferred.
