Qualified candidates will possess the equivalent of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in public administration, business administration, economics, planning, marketing, or a closely related field. A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible professional experience in economic development, redevelopment, real estate, marketing, or a closely related field is required. Experience working in or with local government and knowledge of California economic development practices, public-private partnerships, and municipal development processes are highly desirable. The monthly salary range for the Economic Development Manager is $11,842 - $14,394; placement within this range is dependent on qualifications and experience.
