Economic Development Director

As a key member of the City’s executive management team, the Economic Development Director will lead efforts to attract new businesses and investment, support and retain existing businesses, create opportunities for job growth, and strengthen the City’s overall economic vitality. This position will build meaningful partnerships with businesses, developers, community organizations, educational institutions, and regional partners while overseeing major economic development initiatives and projects.

The ideal candidate is an innovative and collaborative leader who can turn ideas into action, build strong relationships, and identify new opportunities for growth.

Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Urban Planning, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field and five to seven years of relevant experience, including at least three years in a leadership role. A master’s degree is preferred.
